Express Checkout vs. Express Shipping: Understanding Your Delivery

We've noticed a common point of confusion regarding "Express Checkout" and "Express Shipping." It's important to understand these are two different options with distinct functions in our checkout process.

What's the Difference?

  • Express Checkout (Payment Method): This is a quick payment method (e.g., PayPal Express, Shop Pay, Google Pay) that speeds up the payment portion of your purchase by pre-filling your details.
  • Express Shipping (Delivery Method): This is a shipping service (like Australia Post Express Post) that reduces the transit time of your parcel once it's dispatched from our facility.

Important Note on Express Checkout

If you use an Express Checkout option as your payment method (e.g., clicking a "Buy with PayPal" button directly from a product page or cart), the shipping type for your order will automatically default to Standard Post.

This is not the same as selecting Express Shipping. Even if you use an express checkout method, your delivery will be via standard post unless you explicitly select an express shipping option.

How to Select Express Shipping

To ensure your order is sent via Express Shipping, you must manually select "Express Shipping" during the shipping method step of the checkout process, even if you are using an Express Checkout payment method.

Please double-check your chosen shipping method before completing your purchase to ensure it matches your preference.

If you accidentally selected Standard Post but intended to use Express Shipping, please contact our support team at [email protected] as soon as possible.
